Animal
Communication

What is Animal Communication?

Also known as 'interspecies communication', animal communication is a two way conversation between a human and an animal.

Simply put, it is having a conversation with another species. This gives us a chance to connect more deeply with the animals in our life and in the natural world. Through animal communication we can break down the language barrier between our two species, giving our animal companions a safe space to talk and be heard, allowing them to communicate with their person fully for possibly the first time in their life.

Is it similar to talking with a human?

Yes in some ways, however, animal communication is more telepathic and intuitive in nature. These are skills that we all have and use in our everyday lives, everyone can talk to animals, we just need to remember how...

I often explain animal communication to my clients as a controlled version of the moment when someone suddenly pops into your mind and a few seconds later your phone rings and it's the person you were thinking of. Another example is when you walk into a room and sense that there's been an argument, you can feel the energy in the room. We all have these skills, it's just developing them.

Talking with animals is a very detailed form of communication, much more so than talking with a person.   When you communicate with an animal you can send and receive:

- smells

- images

- thoughts

- emotions

- physical sensations

- a deep sense of inner knowing

As with human conversations, both people and animals have their preferred ways of communicating, so it's important to establish each animals methods to help the communication flow.

It takes practice to be able to work with so many elements simultaneously but this soon becomes second nature and allows for a far more in-depth exchange, more so than when talking with a human. Although we often try to understand how our friends and family feel when they talk to us, we cannot actually feel their emotions, limiting our ability to truly understand and empathise with them. However, animal communication allows us to understand exactly how our animals feel. It allows for a very in-depth picture.

How can animal communication help?

Communications are often requested to help guardians' better understand their animal's behaviours and the reasons behind them. Talking with your animal allows us to confirm why behaviours are taking place, what an animal is feeling that brings about these behaviours and how they feel while it is going on. Once this is understood I'm able to give them the reassurance and encouragement needed to make these situations more positive for your animal, helping to clear away any concerns they might have and to work towards helping them be happier and more self-assured. By doing this, behaviours often change naturally without the need to request an alternative behaviour but if that is needed I will help you with this and link back in with your animal to discuss the agreed approach, checking that are happy and comfortable with the plan.

Hearing from an animal can make it easier for a guardian to decide how to deal with any issues or concerns. Often guardians are more accepting of behaviours once they understand the reason, thoughts and emotions behind them.

Animal communication is a great helper in tackling behaviour concerns but can also be used to help with a variety of other things such as:

- Understand your animal and learn more about them

- Give them a chance to express themselves and have their say

- Establish if your animal is happy and if they want/ need anything

- Find out if they are in any pain/ discomfort, where this is and why

- Check how they feel about their routines/ situations/activities

- See how they would feel about a new routine/ situation/ activity

- Work through food issues such as picky eating

- Learn more about your animal's history (if you are not their first guardian)

- Let them know about any upcoming changes - house moves, breakups, the arrival of a baby etc.

- Understand particular reactions they have and help make these more positive

- Contact an animal that has passed over and gone to Rainbow Bridge

All of this is done with a huge amount of heart, I really do want to help both you and your animal to be as happy and content in your lives as possible. Animals truly are amazing creatures that have so much love and wisdom to share with us and it's a privilege to be able to work with them and help people to see their magnificence.

Arranging the Communication

First, you will need to book your communication. You can do this on the Services tab of the website. Here you will be asked to complete a booking form where you can note down up to 6 questions that you would like me to ask your animal. There is also space to write down any messages that you would like passed on to your animal.

Once I receive your booking form I will be in touch to confirm the details with you and to answer any queries you might have. We will also discuss what time frame is best for me to connect with your animal. Although animals can communicate easily while they are out walking or playing, it can be very difficult to have a conversation with someone when they are napping so understanding their daily routine and its timings are helpful! I'll also need a high-resolution photograph of your animal - I'll use this to help connect with them.

Prep, Communication & Feedback

When the time comes for me to link in with your animal, I will prepare myself and my workspace energetically before starting the conversation. Being in the right energetic space, emotionally and physically, is very important - animals are strong empaths and heart-based so whatever vibration (or feeling) you give off will be felt by them. When carrying out a communication I always try to make sure an animal feels as relaxed and comfortable around me as is possible. Talking to a stranger isn't easy for anyone, especially when they are asking you personal questions and the questions I am given by guardians often are very personal.

Before connecting with your animal I will always ask you to show them a picture of me and let them know that I will be trying to communicate with them. When I introduce myself to them at the start of our conversation, one of the first things I will do after telling them my name is to send them the image of my photograph telepathically so they can be sure of who they are talking to. This is partly good manners but it's also to help ensure that any animal I communicate with trusts me and feels safe.

After introducing myself I always ask the animal to describe their personality. This is the first thing we'll cover in your feedback session so you can be certain that I have connected with your animal. I take notes of what is said as I go but will always ask for an animals permission before doing this.

Afterwards, I will be in touch, at your chosen time, to discuss the communication with you. This is most often a video call via Zoom or Skype but can be done over the phone if you prefer.  If we use Zoom I can record our call so that you have a permanent record of your animal's communication (this also means you don't have to take notes). Sometimes when we are going over the feedback new questions might arise, there may be things that need to be clarified or messages or actions that need to be related back to your animal. If this is the case, I will link in with your animal the following day and discuss these, then either email or speak with you again to give the final feedback.

Covid has changed many people's financial situations and so I have put a tiered pricing system in place for animal communications. You can pay £35, £40, £44, £47 or £50 and no matter what price you choose to pay you will receive exactly the same service. This way you can pay whatever is most affordable for you and hopefully, this will help to make animal communication accessible for more guardians and their animals.

I can create a presentation for you, containing a full written transcript of your animal's communication. These documents are beautifully presented and can make wonderful gifts for birthdays, Christmas etc. There is an additional £5 cost for this.  If you would like a written transcript, please let me know and we can arrange an additional payment to cover this.
